anyone here ever try writing a verse backwards??

Sometimes I write backwards from a punchline in my head before I lay it down (i.e. come up with what I want to say at the end of the sequence then fill up the lines leading up to that after)

Never tried a whole verse though.

lol i dont know, i just thought of it cos i normally write backwards from a punchline when i'm writing one, like SkizzAFrantic was saying and i just thought it would be interesting to write a whole verse backwards.

i suppose an advantage could be that you could plan what the verse would lead up to, and be able to think of ur 1liners & lay em down & then figure out what would bring them on. & maybe have like one super duper punchline at the end that the whole verse builds up to.

i dunno but i'm gonna try it sumtime!

I did it for an rstl verse, hard as fuck...cuz you want it to work both ways and it gets confusing
