Interior Works....

...aight whoever's gonna answer this for me is gonna laugh first but i'm just gettin started with some mods in my new ride....

in the interior...the trim is all dark grey...i wanan change that to white....do i buy a whole new white trim 'n put it on or do i just paint the trim that i have?.....

if i gotta paint it...what kinda paint do i gotta use for it?

if i gotta buy a whole new white trim...where can i get that shit?

Did you ever see my interior, or sandigans on here??...

If that's what you are talkin about, here's what i suggest -

1. Get engine paint (can be found at almost any autopart store..pep boys, autozone, advance auto, oreily's etc)...

This way the sun wont damage it.

2. Also get primar, because if it is plastic...it'll chip easily and begin cracking.

3. Primar your parts, and add your paint....add a good bit of coats just in case.

4. Apply clear coat...you can also get that at an auto zone or whatever.....that is IF you want it glossy....if not, dont worry about it....

and...thats about it.

A real simple mod, cheap too.

i have a red f-150 my ideal thing to do would get it all decked out in white and then get red inserts in the seats. that shyt would be hot. White cloth on the ceiling, white carpet, all white panel, maybe some of the plastics red, and then the whtie seats, my name in the head rest, red inserts, and red piping.

Make sure you clean it really good before you paint and get all the armor-all and shit like that off...I just got done painting mine orange the other day actually..

lol...go to a bodyshop and get it professionally done, like this car was. When you are in show you have to have it done like this.
