That's why I laugh when people compare Tribe to De La. Not only because De La could dig deeper lyrically, but they've been doing it before them, and they're still doing it after they left. Plus, while their later albums afrer 3Ft. and De La is Dead weren't considered as great, they still didn't flop like the garbage known as The Love Movement.
Oh yeah, and lets not forget Tribe's attempt at solo careers, which both failed at big time. Suprise suprise.

Three classics. And they had more chemistry and charm than any other group out there, even now. And I've always preferred their musical style over De La's. And TLM was weak, but I wouldn't say it was garbage. A few nice tracks on that shit.
As for solos, Tip sold out , but Phife's was tight.
And why aren't you getting vexed about NWA, the UMCs and the Wu?
