Seriously, civics are FWD (already a strike against it), it's not a racing platform.. It's just an economy shitbox.
You can go three ways and be decent in a Honda swap:
B20 bottom end, B16 head, and B18 intake manifold
K20 strait up
or K24 with the K20 head
Honda much like some LSX motors seems to put better heads on lower displacement engines. Like 5.3 heads on 5.7s for some performance.
But a strait B16 is old news and basicly slow by any stanhdards today. Reliable, cheap, good autoxer perhaps, but slow.
I guess you know that now
IMO you need boost, cubes, or preferably both to really play the drag game anymore.
