Problems with my sound

For the last few days now the music/ sounds on my computer sound like its playing in a hall or something... can hardly hear the voice and the music echo's

I've did nothing with the sound settings so im consufed as hell how this happened.

Any ideas?

Make sure you haven't changed the settings on accident or that they didn't change by themselves. Some drivers, Realtek AC97 comes to mind, have settings that change your sound so that it sounds like it's playing in a particular setting. Such as in a coliseum, a long hall, a bathroom, under water, etc.

it could be that^, the pre amp setting on w/e player your useing or the volume properties on yer computer.

go into you volume properties and check your speaker settings

oh an make sure no wires accidently got jiggled or somthen, somtimes my speakers unplug like a milimeter and it makes my speakers sound really weak.
