... regarding your medical studies.
when did you decide to start, and did you think about it for a while?
was it because of that late bloomer that you made a thread about?
where are you studying? in wales/england/america?
aren't you bored of it, i wouldn't mind studying medicine, but seven years?

It took about 3-4 years from first realising that I could do it, to actually doing it. I've gone over that too many times now.
I don't know what particular late bloomer thread you're talking about, but medicine was always on the cards. I just never had the confidence to pursue it because I'm not that smart and I hate people. I'm glad I was a late bloomer because I'd never have gotten to the time to work through that.
No I don't get bored. I'm not just in this for a career. I'm in this because medicine fascinates me every day. It's not just 7 years either. It's a continuing process.

Unfortunately the real world isnt like house. As such its highly unlikely ill be a practicing physician.
Im going into infecteous diseases. Wide feild with a lot of practical diagnostic work.

infectious diseases? Where are you at as far as earning a.degree?
I agree on the house thing, is very dramatic on t.v., but hospitals from what I've seen are much different
