A welcome offering from RZA & the Wu – another true to form sample & bass heavy, kung-fu & street philosophy-laden album from the Shaolin Monks. The LP showcases mainly the RZA’s production & Ghostface on the mic, GZA & Masta Killa are absent but all other members are featured along with Cappadonna & a long-list of heavy spitters: AZ, Sean Price, Roc Marciano, M.O.P., Action Bronson, Termanology & more. I love how the Wu-Tang have been able to deliver more of their classic sound & themes while properly shedding light on some lesser-known or up & coming cats.
