Solomon pretty much summarized what I was gonna say.

The Bad:
1) I just don't understand how even after knowing well in advance, how come UP didn't come with the dope premeds. I mean Lush is not an amateur, and props to UP for tryna freestyle his way through, but Lush schooled him round after round. I expected some clever writtens in the buildup to this battle, but I was a lil disappointed by UP not bringin the pen-game.
2) I'm not sure again how Grindtime decided to pick the champ in their league, but its not a good look when the first person outside the league takes the championship. I would have considered Storm or Medina the most worthy of holding the title early on, and I'm sure they would have brought the heat to Lush too. But that's just me.

The Good:
1) Lush str8 up was comedy, and still hit hard with some body shots in between. He clearly won!
2) UP, even tho he took an obvious L, I gotta say the dude has presence. He's got swag, but the lines weren't there. I think once he gets the lines to match his presence, he's gonna have a lot of potential to build up to.
3) Another dope event for Grindtime, and the venue was lookin good. Props for gettin a sponsor that does some good work in the community.
4) Lookin 4ward to the Grindtime expansion to LA and NY. I'm even more interested in america vs canda! (I think u called up the element-league folk, lol).

D, lemme know when u come north, we'll go grab a couple of drinks!
