I always had my doubts and hesitancies with G Money... Whatever blind optimism I showed was hyperbolized because of the fact that he was a fellow Houstonian.
I'm still hopeful that he can find his place in this league though. He's more than a "beast dunker" as his outside jumper is pure silk. The thing holding him back at the moment is that he doesn't seem to take the game seriously (looks at it as a chance to showcase his offensive fireworks with the ball in his hand), struggles with his ballhandling and lacks a fundamental understanding about concepts such as team defense and off-the-ball movement.
DannyC, being a Boston resident with access to more Celtics games, has probably seen more of him than I have and he noted his weakness with shot creation and tendency to "stand around and wait for highlights". I've seen traces of the same whenever I saw him on the court.
