Farve was probably one of the last great role models that left the NFL. He never had an aura of arrogance that surrounded him like most players today. I'm happy for him...I'm glad that he is going out on top. There comes a point in time where you want to actually enjoy life and be close to your family for years to come...AND..still be able to function without any debilitating injuries. Anybody who hates on Farve and what he has done is an asshole and doesn't know shit about sports..nor have they conceptualized the thought of actually wanting to take a breather and enjoy life. You never heard Farve complaining and asking for more money to play..etc.....his teammates fed off of his energy because he enjoyed his job. he man has done enough...let him retire and be happy for once. For ANYONE, especially someone of Farve's caliber to "cry"..shows that he is a MAN. Get it out of ur mind that ur some pussy or wimp if you cry over something...
