I think you must not watch many pistons games, no offense. Dont see how you would in LA.
They have one of the best benches in the league. Thats like saying the vikings dont have a line. They didnt play them half of what they do tonight, thats only because we've lost the last 2 games and didnt wanna risk a third, but they usually put anywhere between 30-50 points a game rarely hitting under 30.
You're not gonna see that against a team like the spurs though, no bench is gonna come in and drop 50 on them. But during the game you heard the announcers speaking on how they're not playing the subs half as much as they usually do, and thats cause flip wanted to let the vets get this one done. Theres also reports of Webber returning, but that remains to be seen.
But yeah as far as bench production, detroit is up there with the best teams in the league in that category and has the best one i believe in the EC, could be mistaken. Check nba.com if you dont believe me. As a matter of fact, all the starters minutes are down by about 5-7 minutes per game compared to previous seasons because the bench comes in and finishes them.
