ok lets do that.

youre gonna have to trust my math here, but if youd like, ill come break it down more so, if you need me to. keep in mind, i rounded fractions of votes to the closest possible integer (making the margin of error less than 1%)

ill do you one better, ill take away all of new england. and ill give the dumbasses in this forum a little geography lesson at the same time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
total votes up to the moment:
21,920 (58% celtics, 42% pistons)

michigan: 960 votes, 91% pistons (874 votes for pistons.)

massachusetts: 977 votes, 95% celtics (928 votes for celtics)

rhode island: 124 votes, 84% celtics (104 votes for celtics)

connecticutt: 211 votes, 75% celtics (158 votes for celtics)

vermont: 34 votes, 82% celtics (28 votes for celtics)

new hampshire: 130 votes, 92% celtics (120 votes for celtics)

maine: 67 votes, 96% celtics (64 votes for celtics)

that is a grand total of 874 votes for the pistons. and 1402 for the celtics.

now taking the numbers given to us, if the celtics currently have 58% of 21,920 votes, that would give them 12714. taking away votes from new england, they would then have 11312.

doing the same thing for the pistons, they currently have 42% of 21920, giving them 9206. taking away votes from michigan, they would then have 8332.

-------------------------------------------------
that would then leave the grand total of votes from the united states at 19644, leaving out those from michigan, and new england.

and if that were the case, and the celtics still have 11312 from areas not including new england, giving them a total of

celtics =
57.585% of the votes left.

so in this case double, you are dead friggin wrong.

and keep in mind, the celtics got 58% of international votes as well.

check the math, im right. my math is always right.
