man, i had this argument with a bunch of cats yesterday. IT IS NOT A CHOICE. Fucking men in the ass in jail is a choice. being sexually attracted to men is not a choice.

Homosexuality stems from both environmental AND genetic factors. This is my opinion. For instance, take alook at this statistic: the last born male in any family is the most likely to turn out gay (this is because he'll be mollycoddled and protected by the mother the most etc)...this suggests that it is environmental too..just as some fucked up serial killers and rapists were abused when they were young, certian factors in their upbringing affect the way a person turns out.

There is genetic evidence for it too. I'm not sure on the speicifcs, but apparantly there is a difference in the gene sequence between homo and hetero guys, and also a difference in some parts of the brain. On average, gays have shorter ring fingers than their index finger too.

It is both. I still hate the teapot fuckers though.
