Tha Talent takes it up the butt!
Sweet Eighteen (continued)

NORTH

9. Nique
So Mac gets upset again, and now the North is the most wide open bracket around. And we can thank Nique for that. She still has a lot of rough edges as a writer, but Nique is quietly developing into someone that the RSTL should be watching out for. Though that last win might end the "quietly" part of it all. She's got a good sense of flow, but her story dictation could be improved. However, don't take anything away from her, she will be a match for Ssen. Probability of taking the bracket: 2/20

5. Ssenlli
A lot of newcomers might not recognize Ssenlli, but he was a member of the best days in the RSTL. He's a former champ, and a guy who has seen a lot in this league. It always amuses me that he can pop up every once in a while and write the same quality verses every time. He still writes most of his verses around that ending twist, which some look down upon in the modern league, but Ssen is still a viable force, and he's still illnesS spelled backwards. Probability of taking the bracket: 3/20

3. Tekneek
The founder of the RSTL has had a long history in this league. Yet 40+ wins later, he's still only got one championship. So you can imagine that this guy, the RSTL hypeman, wants to win this tournament more than anyone. He rants and raves constantly, and holds no qualms on being cocky. Recently, he's been in a good streak, and now he runs in a bracket that is up for grabs. I do think he needs to work on his grammer, his last verse was a step back. However, he's the favorite to some, and now will push to win it. Probability of taking the bracket: 6/20

7. Edward Lake
Well, it's official. Ed Lake is Vadik, and Vadik is an RSTL legend. He might even be my favorite RSTLian never to win a title. His writing is so mechanically sound, and his diction and phrasing are very polished, and allow for a lot of growth in his stories. He's definitely hot, as well. His only loss under the name Edward Lake is to Richard Corey, and he's had verse of the week honors already, not to mention beating L-Dogg last week. He's a slight favorite. Probability of taking the bracket: 8/20

SOUTH

9. Ashen Horse
Ashen Horse aka Pestilence is one of the leagues best writers right now. He's got a serious shot of taking anyone down. His defeat of Numskull last week was a suprise to some, but not much of one to me. The man can really tell a story and he brings in an abstract writing style that is becoming more and more popular every week. Very skilled writer, but he could work on consistancy with his mechanics. Still, he has a real shot of winning this. Probability of taking the bracket: 3/20

4. Khoi
Tekneek is not known for being a good predictor in the RSTL, but none-the-less, his word has to mean something. And his word was that Khoi would win this bracket. Khoi's a good writer, although I personally don't believe he's every found his true capacity in the realm of storytelling. Still, he can tell a story well enough, even if narration isn't his strength, and he will try his best to take this. He's skilled enough that he might do it. Probability of taking the bracket: 4/20

11. BusterHymen
BusterHymen has been flying under the radar. He's a very good writer and he has the potential to win this. A 10% chance is not a long shot. Mechanically, he's probably the most polished in this bracket. The only major flaw I see in him is that he needs to develop his stories more. That will come with experience. Right now, he may not be good enough to win the bracket, but in a few months, with seasoning, he'll be a great writer. Probability of taking the bracket: 2/20

7. dicenyaeye
Last week, dicenyaeye tied me with a very entertaining and well done comical verse. Though he still has some rough edges, I think the comedy approach, if done as well as dic used it, can be a great tool. Dic's a relative newcomer to this league, but his writing shows maturity. He's got a good grasp of rhyme scheme and his flow is smooth. He's certainly a contender. Probability of taking the bracket: 5/20

2. Tha Talent
If you looked at the probabilities yet, you probably think I am being cocky by putting myself as the favorite to win this bracket. However, with the eliminations of DahLohner and Username, I have become the favorite. My win and championship totals should speak for themselves. However, I know I have to stay focused and it would probably be advantageous for me to push a more narrative approach for now. Probability of taking the bracket: 6/20

Outro
i'm just going to say peace, and leave it at that.
